TOO MANY STEPS. TOO MUCH TIME INVESTED JUST TO GET TO A 1 hour Interview! Not a good ROI. I spent hours researching the company and job before I even applied. Then invited to 45 min phone interview with recruiter, who was literally the main and only positive of this whole thing. We discussed my experience, next steps, and preparation time for the final interview with hiring managers they call “talent champions” called a behavioral interview. Then had 30 min follow up call with recruiter who gave me 2 assignments that took me an hour each to complete. (1 is supposed to show you what working in the job really looks like and the other was fake license exam) After follow up call and additional interview coaching and preparation hiring manager interview was scheduled. Horrible. I literally had spent 5 hours over the whole process preparing for this 1 meeting. It was on video. They were late. The questions they asked were relevant but the whole thing felt like an interrogation. After about 2 days the recruiter let me know I was not selected and gave me the feedback that I was TOO detailed with my answers and did not express my passion for the role enough, per the “talent champions”. I was devastated. She let me know she enjoyed the experience and that I was invited to apply again in 6 months. I am so disappointed that Fidelity has such a grueling process. Makes recruiter be interview coach over 2 calls yet lets a 1-hour video interview with the managers trump all of that and the hard work put in just to get there. All in all I estimate that I spent a good 8 hours preparing for 1 hour of my life with 2 people I never met to decide if I’m good enough? Thanking the recruiter for sure yet if this experience is any indication of what it’s like to work there, no thanks.

Was quite a few interviews for a rather entry level job but the people seemed nice. Was hard to answer how I would study for something I had no materials for yet.

Phone call interview and then panel interview. It was pretty average in difficulty and the whole interview process spanned about two months. I did my interviews virtually since I don't live there.
Filled out an application and was sent an invitation to do video interview via email. The interview process seemed straightforward. The job description included having to pass an exam after a trial period.
