      Entretien

One of the worst interview experiences ever. They failed to call me on the scheduled time for the preliminary phone screen - and then called 2 days later out of the blue. After the initial phone screen they called me for an in-person interview to Merrimack, NH. I was in NJ and on the phone they said they would reimburse me for travel and an overnight stay. Upon arriving to the office the hiring manager said this was a preliminary interview and they would NOT reimburse me. Nice!. The interview was unorganized and unprofessional - the manager took a phone call in the middle of the interview (it was very obviously from his wife/girlfriend), then checked his email multiple times, and then finally opened several SQL scripts on his monitor and asked me what particular sections of the code did. I wasn't sure why I was being asked SQL questions because that is not a skill that I claim to have. Then the next interviewer (the hiring manager's manager) walks into the room and says that he has to leave early. This person was to interview me next. Then both of them disappear for about 20 minutes - and finally the manager's manager does interview me. By this time - I had decided that it had been an overall waste of time and money - and I told them that they probably needed somebody else for that position. I had rolled-over a 401K to Fidelity a few years prior to this - and promptly transferred my money to another institution the next business day. Sure it is a drop in the bucket - but that was the least (and maximum in some senses) that I could do to given the highly unprofessional conduct of these people.

Lengthy and challenging but doable. A lot of questions on data structures and leetcode questions practice is a must. Interviewed by researchers and other developers. A lot of meeting with different stake holders in the firm. Expect at least 5 interviews

J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 2 jours. J'ai passé un entretien chez Fidelity Investments en mars 2016

      Entretien

Very unorganized. They forgot to call me the first time a phone interview was scheduled. The recruiter rescheduled a phone call. After a few basic questions the second time around they called me from New Jersey to New Hampshire saying they will compensate for travel expenses. The in-person rounds in New Hampshire were equally unorganized. The hiring *manager* had scheduled only 2 people to interview me - himself and his boss. Midway through my interview with the hiring manager, his boss dropped in to say that he was leaving for the day - and then realized that he was supposed to interview me - so they switched me to him. Midway through that - the hiring manager popped in to say that they found 2 other people to interview me. What a circus! They call me to NH and could not even organize a round of interviews professionally.

SQL: the interviewer pulled up a random SQL script and asked me to explain various things in it.
