Entretien pour Associate Systems Analyst - LEAP Program

      22 juil. 2016
      Employé (anonyme)
      Raleigh, NC
      Offre acceptée
      Expérience positive
      Entretien moyen

      Candidature

J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Fidelity Investments (Raleigh, NC) en févr. 2016

      Entretien

I went on a RTP bus trip (Durham NC) with my school to Fidelity Investments. I knew about their leap program, but did not know whether or not they still had openings or if I qualified, etc. I was introduced to the Leap Program director/coordinator, he asked me a couple questions like why systems analyst track, what experience do you have, and asked to see my resume. He then set up a Skype interview, ( 1-45 min behavioral, 1-45 min technical) for the following week. The best advice I can give to someone who is going into ANY interview with Fidelity, make sure you know the company's background, company's values, have a skills section on your resume (that pertain to the job you are applying for) and be ready to defend them (not in a bad way), focus mainly on the BEHAVIORAL questions (I had about 15 different questions), and have about 10 of your own questions ready to ask the interviewer. The glassdoor reviews help. They want to make sure you are a team player...someone who is willing to learn and think outside the box. For the technical interview, they do not expect you to know everything (esp if a recent college grad) It is OK if you do not know an answer, simply ask them to explain. After the interviews I felt like I did OK, but not great. I emailed BOTH interviewers and the employee who coordinated everything, and thanked them their time. I heard back from the Leap coordinator (same guy who set everything up for me) that afternoon with an offer. Overall, I would say I had a great experience with Fidelity. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Interviewers were stern, but respectful and very helpful. There are helpful links that have sample interview questions (that Fidelity asks)... review them.
