The whole process is very slow and no follow up from HR. So far i do not know the answer after one year. One year after submission and followed by phone interviewer.

Got my interview through campus recruiting event. It was a very standard interview process. The interviewer just asked questions based on my resume. I talked through the research that I have been engaged in. After that, a couple of behavioral questions, like "what is your proudest achievement?". In the end, I had some time to ask the interviewer some questions about ExxonMobil.

The interview began with a phone interview, then progressed to a on-site interview with several one-on-one meetings to assess personality fit, along with a technical presentation. The interview process was largely driven by the interviewee asking questions about the company. The interviewers seemed to place a lot of emphasis on company fit rather than simply technical skill. There were a lot of behavioral type questions, and the employees all seemed to enjoy working with the company.
