Entretien
I was interviewed for Expedia Partner Solutions (EPS) for their London office in early December 2021. The entire process was done remotely.
I applied online and got a call from their recruiter after three months. After the initial discussion, the interview process was as follows.
1. Call with Engineering manager:
It was a friendly chat. He gave me better insight into the team and discussed my background. And asked some technical questions related to functional programming since I have experience with Scala.
2. System design
They asked me to design a hotel booking system. It went well, and we discussed the possibilities of coding some basic blocks to deployment and scaling.
3. Coding interview
Three common Leetcode style questions were asked in increasing levels of difficulty. It included a knapsack problem as well.
4. Cultural fit interview
I was not fond of this interview, but I answered their questions. They came up with a written list of questions and started reading it. I expected a more friendly conversation. After a brief intro about their
- What was one mistake you have made?
- What was something you did differently?
My experience meeting the engineering team was excellent. They are passionate about the product they are building. But I was disappointed by the recruitment team.
To this day, I haven't received any feedback about the interviews. I tried several follow-up emails with no luck in getting any response. I invested my valuable time in their interviews and I believe I deserve feedback even it's a negative one.

Interview Process: Pros: straight forward, very quick. Cons: Feedback doesn't make sense as this is ambiguous, and feedback is provided after 2-3 followups after 2-3 weeks. Process: 1. Took 3 rounds of interview, each intervieer have different prespecrive towards the open position and they have diffrent expections as well, seems like they dont have exact idea what skills they are looking for after good 4-5 hours of discussion rounds they ghosted me, no feedback and call shared even after sending a follow up email

Entretien
I was interviewed for the position of SDE III on 26th September 2022. I had my first round which was an HM round based on Decision Making / Dealing with ambiguity, People Management. I cleared this round and HR scheduled another round on 30th September which was supposed to be System Design (HLD/ LLD), Tech deep dive, operational excellence. I even got a zoom link and meeting invite for the same and all of a sudden I get a call from HR on 29th september saying that they are no longer hiring for this position. If they don't want to hire for a position, there is no point in wasting the time of a candidate.
