      Entretien

I received an interview for an internship because of another application I had submitted for the Women in Technology Consulting Conference. So, my initial screening interview was for the conference, but then a specific office contacted me for an in-person interview for an internship. The office was very good about working with my busy schedule to get me in to meet everyone on the team. I didn't know what to expect for the day, but when I arrived, I met with the recruiter, who told me about the schedule for the day and gave me a tour of the office. He was very laid back and tried to make me feel as calm as possible. I thought I would be in a group of other candidates, but it was just me all day. After the tour, I had two 30-minute interviews with advisory managers. Then, an advisory partner took me and two newer associates to a very nice lunch. After lunch, I had another 30-minute interview and a 30-minute case interview. All interviews were behavioral; they just wanted to get to know me, my personality, and my work style. The case interview was more analytical. I was nervous because I had not prepared for this (not knowing the schedule ahead of time), but I think I did well, and the interviewer told me the same. The analysis was more of a back-and-forth Q&A and conversation rather than me just giving my own thoughts, which made it a little easier. Afterward, I met with the recruiter and the partner. We talked about how the day had gone, and they let me know they would be sending me an offer letter. :)

Applied through campus recruiting; had a 30 min behavioral interview. It involved pretty standard first round questions. The interviewer was pretty casual and easy to talk to, but I think it would be a mistake to mirror the interviewer; even if they act like its a casual conversation, make sure to 'wow' them.

      Question 1

Walk me through your resume, tell me about yourself, why EY, why RAP, tell me about a time you faced adversity/conflict, worked on a team, etc.

Definitely ace the pre-night. One thing to keep in mind is to not ask all your questions in pre-night. Leave some for your interview. During my interview, I ran out of questions and the interviewer kept pushing me for more questions. The interviewer just was not interested in me since he didn't ask any follow-up questions. He mainly just went through like 3-4 typical Big four interview questions and started to stare at the clock.

Nothing difficult. Manager was friendly and conversational, The first round interview is more about whether they can relate well with you. The HR never responded to my follow up mails on my progress in the recruitment process after the interview

An example of a time you failed. Example to show your multitask ability.
