Entretien
First got a call with an HR representative for ~30 minutes about what I knew of the company, my background and experience, my motivation etc
Then I got a first coding interview that was some sort of technical screening with a Datadog employee. I had to solve 2 problems in the langage of my choice. Overall experience was really good, and I got the talk about the employee afterwards about his job and other things.
Then I had to go through what they call the Panel interviews which consist of 4 interviews: 1 System Design, 1 HR partner interview and 2 coding interviews
I received feedbacks in-between each round of interviews by the HR person in charge of the process which was really pleasant. They really were proactive in updating me at each step of the process to make it a less stressful experience.
After debriefing on their side, they put me in touch with Team leaders to have the best match possible between what I wanted to do and their needs, then I accepted a final offer.

Question 1
First HR interview was classic opening interview: questions about motivation, Datadog, technical background, work experience, what you're looking for, etc. HR representative understand technical topics really well so don't hesitate to explain you past projects
First technical screening was 2 problems in 1h (Leetcode easy to medium, done on Coderpad):
* Find max sum root to leaf in a tree
* Detect characters repetition in an input string
Then for the Panel round of interviews:
* HR Partner interview : I interviewed with a Director of Engineering. You have to talk in depth about a past project you took part in that matches what Datadog does and speaks to your experience. I also had a lot of classic interview questions and some technical questions about my project
* System Design interview: Design an app that will aggregate your bank account balance and send notifications if it goes below a certain threshold
* Coding Interview I: Some problem about having to parse logs then output an aggregated recap when prompted with queries
* Coding Interview II: Some problem about having a regex matcher for string with some wildcard mechanisms
One knowledge interview and one technical interview afterwards. Knowledge was fine. During the tech one, the interviewer was not listening. The problem was a standard one. Got rejected after second round.

Knapsack problem with coins, solved via dynamic programming
Screening RH, qui mentor durant le process, puis deux rounds, le deuxième avec 4 test différents. Bon feedback tout du long. C'est fluide et le RH est là pour aider à préparer les sujets.
El proceso constó de tres fases principales. Primero, apliqué online a un puesto de trabajo disponible. Posteriormente, pasé a una entrevista técnica de aproximadamente una hora, enfocada principalmente en el desarrollo, integración y securización de APIs. También discutimos estrategias de despliegue, monitorización y gestión de recursos en la nube utilizando el ecosistema de Azure. Por último, realizamos un ejercicio conversacional sobre buenas prácticas de código y arquitectura. Fue un proceso fluido y el equipo fue muy profesional.
