For the second stage, I had to write an analytical report on a subject related to the position in a 2 hour period. Sent it back and received a confirmation email saying I would hear back after one week. Then silence after that. I followed up two weeks later with an email. No response. Then after another week, I tried calling the HR person I was in contact with, but again no response. The third and last email I sent before I gave up and accepted another job offer was to the analyst from the interview. No response from them either. Finally, after one month, I receive a standard "thanks but we decided to go in another direction" email.
