Interview took 2 weeks and onsite interview. The interviewer was very professional. Salary offered was very less. Hence i have to decline the offer.
Behavioral question. Then how would you design a spam filter. Then lots of questions on logistic regression, gradient descent, naive Bayes, etc. etc. Then a difficult coding question involving recursion. Talk into details about my most recent project and also asked some basic ML concept. Then let me describe how to solve a specific NLP problem. Lastly give a medium level DP algorithm problem

Pre-screen with hiring manager who found me on LinkedIn. Two phone screens, then on-site with job talk. I was surprised that I didn't pass the first phone screen. The interviewer was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. The overall process was pretty slow-- slow to schedule, then slow to tell me I hadn't passed.

Nunca en mi vida me había sentido tan mal en una entrevista.
Me la hacen dos personas, dos chicos que trabajan allí. Empiezan con una serie de preguntas genéricas de Machine Learning, una de ellas sobre: Qué es el overfitting.
Respondo perfectamente, tanto que me dice que CREE que me he inventado la respuesta y que debo haberla mirado en internet o me la debo haber aprendido de memoria (qué ironía). Así que dibuja dos líneas en un cuaderno y me pide que interprete en directo si es overfitting. Le comento que no lo veo bien y tal y me suelta directamente: "Entonces no sabes qué es el overfitting".
Simplemente espectacular.
El resto de la entrevista transcurrió en la misma dinámica. Gente MUY desagradable. Nunca había visto algo igual. Todo el rato en una dinámica completamente tóxica de entrevista que merece que a esas dos personas les den un toque completo de atención porque vaya vergüenza.
