I had online interviews on 2 consecutive days, basically one round. They didn’t call me, just sent me the dates in email. They interview you for 4 positions. The language depends on the interviewees, can be Hungarian or English all along, they switch to English during technical questions.
After the interviews they disappeared for a month. I was told there would be another round but they just called me with the offer. They also ask which position you would prefer, my advice, don’t choose Product Control. Regulatory reporting and Treasury are much better. You should definitely ask which country’s Holidays they use, it’s mostly UK, but USA for PC. Also ask about working hours, if it matters to you.

Question 1
There were regular questions, like work experience, what do you know about the company, why do you want to work in investment banking. Lots of questions about derivatives, bonds, equity. I couldn’t answer everything perfectly, they hired me anyway. You should definitely learn the definitions of futures, forwards, options, swap, bond, equity. Also bond types and equity types. They also asked me every Option Greek. You have to know the whole balance sheet and income statement of banks, difference between commercial and investment banks. You can have more difficult questions that you can’t really prepare for, like they tell you about a situation and what sort of derivative would you use and why. I had also questions about bond pricing.

Entretien
Professional. Started with an initial interview with HR, then the second interview was a panel of VPs-SVPs of the team. Took me about 3 weeks before I was called to be accepted, and then a few more weeks before the offer.
Two rounds for a junior position. The technical interview is not difficutly.. questions assess your ability to work under pressure and team work. Technical questions include difference between an investment bank and commercial bank and knowledge about different financial products, excel skills, and some Black-Sholes, Greeks questions
Quick and not too much on the technical aspects. They ask about your knowledge on financial products. Lots of manual aspects to the job but learn all you can on the on-the-job trainings offerred.
