I submitted my application through my school's career services site. A few days later, an employee reached out for a phone screen. There were a few questions during the interview that caught me off guard, two of which I listed below. The role was definitely more analytical than the job description let on.

Completed first round phone interview with employee who has the position currently. Lasted about 75 minutes. Asked me to talk her through my resume then asked pretty basic behavioral questions. Also asked about the mission of the company, why Brilliant Earth specifically, etc. She was really friendly and I really enjoyed talking to her. A few days later, I got an email to schedule a second round interview.
