I had an interview with Brilliant Earth that lasted around 15 minutes and felt very rushed and robotic. The interviewer asked standard questions about strengths, weaknesses, and my previous roles, but the conversation felt one-sided and unengaging. Despite having relevant experience in e-commerce and jewelry, there didn’t seem to be much interest or follow-up on my background.

Interview was super easy. It was 3 rounds, and I made it to the final one with the VP. It went very well, and he told me he hoped to let me know soon after reconvening with the team. After that, it was radio silent for 4 days. I followed up twice, and didn’t hear until business day 7 that I wasn’t chosen. Prepare to have to follow up multiple times or be ghosted after going through the entire interview process
