Was contacted by super friendly Talent Acquisition Professional to go over the interview and scheduling. She was helpful and pleasant each step of the way. For the actual interview itself I was a nervous wreck, how do you even begin to prepare to stay cool and collected when it's an opportunity of a lifetime at the company you've always had your heart set on? I was also in full panic mode because I had my phone charger plugged into the outlet but for some reason it didn't charge and I was about to do a Zoom interview with half battery life (lesson learned don't be a virtual interview rook like me and do such a call via Mobile Device, have the Desktop webcam/microphone handy). However, the team was very understanding, accommodating and super friendly right off the bat and put all my fears at ease within minutes of introductions. It went from a panic attack fest (for me) to a friendly virtual table discussion about my background, the team, what to expect, what they expect and the joys of being a part of Blizzard and a dash of geek/gamer talk. I think the important takeaway is be yourself, show your enthusiasm and passion and that you're hungry for this opportunity and you're willing to go the distance for it. It's okay to pause for a second to think on your answer, there really is no pressure, but do make it count. I definitely hung up the interview with the notion "I really wanted to be a part of this team." GL HF DD.
