      Interview process was thorough and lengthy. First call was with a recruiter, second interview was with the hiring manager, the next step was a take-home assessment, followed by a virtual onsite with 4 interviews. One of the interviews was another interview with the hiring manager to review the assessment. After passing this step, the next stage was a call with the department head. Final step was a call with one of the co-founders. It was a challenging yet enjoyable experience. I received extremely positive feedback throughout the interview experience. However, it took a turn for the worse toward the end. After discussing my salary requirements with the recruiter, the final step was to speak with the co-founder. I was displeased to hear after the final step that they decided not to move forward with me due to my lack of specific industry experience. I wish they would have screened me out from the start if this was the reason I did not receive an offer. Many hours were spent preparing for the interview process. My advice is to make sure you really align in value and experience to what their core offering is before venturing down the interview process.

      To echo the numerous other reviews, it was an incredible frustrating interview experience. I made it through to the 'executive' interviews, speaking with 6 different people in the organisation, which included creating a comprehensive presentation that showcased my ideas and previous experience of building world class Customer Success teams. The series of interviews and presentation preparation extended over a significant period, seemed longer than typical recruitment procedures which essentially equated to a full day's work. My most significant concern, however, stems from the lack of detailed feedback provided after all the effort and dedication put into the recruitment process. When I tried to probe for further feedback I received an extremely generic response. Not really the respect I would expect to receive as a candidate who invested so much time going through their process and presented ideas that could be used to develop the teams further. Essentially I was only told 'that they chose to move forward with someone who matched their needs'. I even followed up in writing to their CEO and VP Human Resources, but have yet to receive any acknowledgment of my email. Very surprising considering the service and product they provide as a company and their so called values.

      they take months to respond to application, and lack follow through. They're losing a lot of good candidates in the process. my advise is, clarifying your process and timelines, and follow up with people on time

      The interview was process was relatively long, but incredibly valuable. I met with the team lead, teammates, leadership, and had a cross-functional session. Although the the exercises took some prep work, the sessions let me see how the people I may be working with (or reporting to) handled relevant challenges. It gave me a chance to see the team in action, before having to sign a contract. The scenarios and the questions gave me a chance to demonstrate my working style, and therefore gave the interviewers a chance to make a decision to set me & their team up for long-term success. My recruiter made sure I was supported, prepared, and set up for success with every call. I've interviewed all over, and BetterUp by far had the most informative and valuable process!
