Extremely unprofessional interview experience with CTO Pros: The recruiter I initially spoke with was polite and communicative throughout the scheduling process. Cons: My final-round interview with the CTO was extremely unprofessional and inappropriate. During the conversation, he used offensive language (including a slur) and brought up topics such as pornography and prostitution that were irrelevant to the interview. He also left the call midway through a technical interview, instructing me to email my solution afterward, which felt dismissive and disrespectful. I was shocked by how unprofessional the behavior was, especially from someone in an executive leadership position. It left me with serious concerns about the company’s culture and leadership standards. Stay away as far as possible.

First round was pretty chill. Guy explained what the company did, we worked on an easy-ish coding problem, and was quite friendly. Seemed to emphasize solving hard problems. Next round was a bit weird. Person asked a bunch about what my hardest classes were and judging the difficulty of my classes. When we got to the coding part, I first wrote the brute force solution and then the guy wrote the solution for me later on and that felt a bit weird.
