Online video interview then final online assessment day. Assessment day was a group exercise and individual interview with case studies for both. These were relatively easy tasks but the assessor in the group interview was hostile and ill-mannered. I received feedback that our group's AI solutions were "too advanced" and that I "seemed too nervous, didn't contribute enough, and focused too much on data science" -- while I was indeed nervous (it's an interview!), I did most of the talking and ideation in my group, presented, and explained our ideas, so I don't see how I could have contributed more. And I was interviewing for a Data and AI Consultant role; why is it bad that I offer more advanced AI solutions? They have 3 different graduate tracks you can apply for; data and AI, cybersecurity, or software engineering. I applied for a role in the data and AI track; despite this, I was told that my focus on data science during the exercises was wrong and I should focus more on the software engineering side. What... Almost all the feedback I received was contradictory and nonsensical; I am led to believe that they are rejecting me (and possibly others) for reasons they are not willing to share, or otherwise are not paying attention during the interview. It's an incredible shame, to be honest, because the process started so well and they even sent all applicants a free notebook and jellybeans. I would personally not recommend applying.
