Miscommunication on AVA's end resulted in a big stop during the last interview with the CEO, apparently I have the experience needed for the job but since I have always worked with big groups before, they claim that I will not be a good fit inside a start-up company. This could have been told right from the start, as there was no mention of this anywhere on the job posting nor during my 4 previous interviews with a different interviewer each time.

First a phone screening. Second phase was a technical questionnaire (you had their FAQ pages to use), plus a paragraph of what you learned from an interview you had to conduct with a deaf or heard-of-hearing person, then a reflection paragraph of the whole process. Third phase was a 3-hour virtual interview with 3 people.
