Fairly easy going, I was given a week to prepare a 10 minute presentation. This was delivered to two staff members, then the technical interview afterwards. Staff were very friendly and made the whole experience comfortable. It was all done remote which made it easy to attend

1. Online Tests 2. Phone interview 3. Assessment centre 4. Job offer I would advise people of colour to avoid applying for this role at Atkins, and possibly Atkins as a whole. I received feedback from my assessment centre to why I did not receive the role, and I was shocked. All areas where I apparently was underwhelming and lacking, I was offered advice on how to improve. All advice given was already actions I did at the assessment centre. For example, I was told I could benefit from encouraging the group to achieve objectives within set time frames, however, I was the only person in my group that did this. There were many points I could refute, however, speaking to other applicants of colour that also had assessment centres for Atkins, they received similar generic feedback. I was highly disappointed, and I do not like accusing anyone of giving preferential treatment to certain candidates. The feedback I received was not reflective of my performance and other applicants of colour echoed this sentiment. Good luck to anyone who still chooses to apply as Atkins does have many benefits and is a good place to start your career.
