Recruiter screen and then a first-round interview with the hiring manager. I received a request for a recruiter screen three weeks after applying online. The Recruiter was welcoming and helpful with details about the role and next steps, which included multiple interviews with different people in the Apple TV+ team. The hiring manager interview was one of the most interesting interviews I had during my job search. The interviewer was insightful and slightly eccentric and asked various core competency questions. I appreciated their transparency (almost to a fault) about the Apple culture and navigating cross-functional teams. After two weeks, I received a rather generic rejection email. However, I wish the team the best and would be open to applying to Apple again.
