I recently appeared for an interview at Accenture for the role of an Associate Software Engineer. The interview was a one-on-one virtual round focused primarily on understanding my background, technical knowledge, and suitability for the role.
The interview began with a brief self-introduction, where I shared my educational background, internship experience, and current projects. This was followed by a detailed discussion about my projects, where I was asked to explain the technologies used, my role in the development process, and the real-world problem the project aimed to solve. I also highlighted the challenges I faced during development and how I overcame them — showcasing my problem-solving and debugging skills.
The interviewer then asked, “Why Accenture?”, to which I shared my interest in working with a global IT leader known for innovation, learning opportunities, and a strong emphasis on diversity and inclusion.
I was also asked about relocation, and I confirmed my flexibility and willingness to relocate as required.
Toward the end, we discussed the technologies I’m currently up to date with, where I mentioned my ongoing learning and hands-on experience with tools and frameworks relevant to full-stack development, along with my interest in staying updated with industry trends.
Overall, the experience was smooth, and the interviewer was friendly and professional, making it a comfortable and insightful interaction.
