Applied via online TDP college application website. Got a call from a recruiter about 6 weeks later. This particular program hires for start in either January or June, so be patient. Recruiter was very friendly and was submitting my applications so several divisions. Ended up interviewing with 5 different divisions and took the first offer that came back, with Network Operations. Every interview was fairly informal, talking to hiring manager and another member of technical staff about career goals, experience. Answered a few technical questions about programming, web experience, network experience, and project management experience. Answered a few questions about Unix command line and Cisco networking. Everything went very smoothly and heard back with job offer within a few days. Offer is non-negotiable, but very nice considering the pension, 401k match, and other benefits. There is a nice yearly bonus that can be earned as well.
