I was contacted by a recruiter because I had my resume on Monster. She asked me if I would like to work for AT&T as a sales representative to please fill out an application and directed me to their website. I just graduated with a BBA in Accounting so I was not excited about working retail but I applied anyway.
I was contacted via phone by another recruiter within the week asking if I was still interested in the position , I said yes and she scheduled an interview with a regional rep for the following week.
During the interview the gentleman was very polite and I could definitely tell he was interested in my skills even though I had never been a salesperson before.
He asked me to come back the next day to meet with the Store manager and she was very brief and basically broke my job duties down for me and asked me to shadow a sales rep on the floor.
A decision was made in a few short days, I did not get the position I applied for but they offered me a Retail Sales Support Representative job instead. I took it because in the end I know it would be less stressful for me and gives me an opportunity to go back to school.

The easiest interview I’ve ever done. I applied on indeed with my resume. 2 days later I get a call from the store manager asking if I was available for an interview the following day to which I said yes. That same day before my interview the manager sends me a tex that I’m literally already hired, but he still wanted to do the interview to put a face to the name. (I previously worked for a year with Cricket and I have currently been two years in Metro by T-Mobile).The following day comes and as scheduled, I do my interview which lasted about 15 to 20 minutes just asking basic questions and explaining a little bit how commission worked and how I was going to get paid. All was done through FaceTime, quick and painless. Later that day, the same day I did my interview I get another text from the manager saying that I start in 2 weeks so I put my 2 weeks at my current job and as this point in time that I’m writing this review I am still waiting to start at AT&T 2 weeks from today
