Avantages

Training is paid and early in the morning. Pay is good for Las Cruces and the interview and applying process is really easy and smooth. Parking is better now because they built a new big parking lot by the site. A large variety of different people and age groups make it an interesting place to work and make new friends.

Inconvénients

Very dirty inside the call center. The keyboards and desks were full of food. The chairs were mostly broken. A lot of computers were broken often which made it hard to find a seat at clock in time if during the busy hiring season. This made me clock in late often, only half the time it was corrected for me. People would turn the tv's used for troubleshooting to the isles and watch tv all shift instead of working. Everyone seemed to be dating eachother left and right here and a couple fights between some young kids broke out while I was employed on the call center floor. All in all it was a very highschool like environement . Just too many people involved with spreading rumors about eachother and trying to get each other fired. This made for a very stressful work environment. If your numbers are good you dont hear from the managers and they wouldnt give you positive feedback. On the other hand if you slip on your numbers expect to hear about it and correct it before you get written up. Some managers are strict about this and others will put it off until you are just fired because they arent prepared to repremand anyone even though their job requires them to. They had leaks in the ceilings and there was mildew causing alergy problems. Janitors often mopped the rug in the call center instead of shampooing it so it smelled. The bathrooms smelled horrible often and usually were out of toilet paper. Smoking was permitted out side but the ashtrays caught on fire often!

Avantages

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Inconvénients

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
