Got let go from datadog for not performing well! My expected metrics were Demo certified Pass courses Pipeline target Closed won target (3) I met all of these except my pipeline number which was short circa $100 What manager would let that go is my question? He said I didn’t perform well this is less than 6 months in! He rejected one of my sales because the customer had not shown usage after 10ths of signing up? The customer stated they had integration issues and needed help he rejected my sale why? I don’t know to not pay me my commission? Is that his decision or the company? I was never put on a PIP or even told her if you don’t meet these… I specifically asked my manager when he save me expected medics daily, is this a PIP which he replied no it’s not! My manager showed up minimum 5-7 mins late for every 1-1 if he didn’t move or cancel it! My manager made me uncomfortable to speak to him My manager misinformed me on more than one occasion

Avantages

Great product, in-person office atmosphere is very good, great learning opportunity for someone newly stepping into first sales role from previous SDR position

Inconvénients

Ran through sales account patches, below average base pay for role vs. rest of industry, can be a bit of a pressure cooker at times, high turnover
