Avantages
Competitive compensation and benefits. There are a lot of knowledgeable people that work for the company, however, the incompetence at the top and the greed of the almighty dollar greatly limits many of those employees potential.
Inconvénients
Incompetent upper management hiring practices. Negative perception within the community about Wal-Mart's treatment of its employees. Work/family balance plain sucks for lack of a better term. For example, if you are a member of management, then your days off are always preceded by a closing shift. Very seldom are your days off concurrent and if you had a manager like I did, he would put you on a 6 day work week at the drop of a hat with no intentions of giving that time back to you. And if you ever complain, then your career is over. It's a simple as that.
