Avantages
Good benefits. Great pay if you get lucky and are chosen as the favorite and handed a territory that surpasses all the others. Other than that I can't think of any anymore
Inconvénients
I don't even know where to begin. Salesforce's 'AMAZING' company culture has proven to be one of the world's greatest LIES. To managers who don't show any interest in motivating their employees and solely act in their own self interest all the time with such blatant transparency that it completely de motivates everyone. All the departments work at odds to one another and with zero accountability. Billing doesn't care about sales or the customers, international offices fight U.S offices for customers and vice versa and the customer is given the short end of the stick. Mainly there is such favoritism that goes on where employees are given territories that create so much of their own acv that it goes beyond any sort of fairness. Employees will make 10 times their colleagues that bust their butt and promoted over others that actually have proven to be more strategic, because they were playing a political game the whole time and given a money patch / accounts by management. Management then DOES NOT CARE about the affect this has on employee or team morale. They get it. They're salesforce. and if one person becomes a little too in need of emotional support or guidance, or goes through a slightly hard time with the constant unfairness - they just throw on a performance plan and push them out the door. The performance plans are not designed to help people succeed, they are designed to ensure that someone they don't like (regardless of performance) fails. I have watched people crush all their numbers when put on a performance plan - just to see the managers manipulate or create some subtext which show that the employee did in fact NOT hit their goals. It has been one of the most toxic, self serving, and back stabbing cultures I have ever been exposed to.
