Avantages
I can't find a good reason to say that is incredible to work here. The salary is relatively good but is not competitive compared with other IT companies. The benefits are moderately good. Minor and major medical insurance, savings fund of 6%, food coupons, Christmas bonus of 15 days, nothing impressive. Flexible schedules.
Inconvénients
Deloitte is not a place that I would recommend to work. Your mental health is always challenged. Team morale is always low. The company modified its growth policies and it is practically impossible to get a job promotion. The performance evaluations changed and now you are evaluated by members who are not even on your team, now it is measured by a checklist of things that you must comply and they don't take in consideration what you bring to the team, your performance, or your effort. Based on that, earning a bonus is extremely hard. The offices are disgusting and dirty, reaching to the point that the water dispensers are dirty with stagnant water. The managers don't care about you, once you enter the bench you are considered a second class employee. The study classes that are assigned are based on a general plan for everyone and don't care about the path that you want to take for your career. They have a very aggressive micromanagement where everything you do must be justified, even a trip to the bathroom. If you are junior it is a good place to start and learn but please, please, don't make your career here. They don't care about you. Just stay here until you learn what you need for your future, then please leave. All the changes that were done since Deloitte bought Dextra are terrrible, they are not making good business decisions and most of their biggest clients are gone to find a better vendor. A lot of engineers ended in the bench and after a couple of months they were fired because there are no projects that you can be assigned.
