      Avantages

      Joined during the m&a times where there was a lot of learning, interacting with consultants, and access to technologies. I’d say if the travel technology industry interests you, this is a nice place to work especially if you like Mallorca.

      Inconvénients

      Everything is centralized in Mallorca. The company is not suited to be there. As a travel tech company, move to a more premier location rather than being cheap and saving on taxes in this hedonistic island. Growth is difficult. Make sure to learn Spanish, bonus if you speak mallorquin.

      Avantages

      The company is doing great things in the travel technology space. If you’re passionate about travel and hotels, this is the place for you. It is an alternative to giants like Expedia and Booking within its own niche of B2B. You are exposed to a multi-national level company where platforms to processes span across countries.

      Inconvénients

      It’s unfortunately was centralized in Spain and despite restructuring, regional offices weren’t given enough independence. It’s good to have a Spanish identity but when it affects staffing, it begins to reek of nepotism. On the bright side, I learned Spanish.
