It’s LGBTQ+ History Month - an opportunity to celebrate and raise awareness of the history and lived experiences of the LGBTQ+ community. We spoke to Tony Chilton, London co-chair of the LGBTQ+ Network committee at Which? to find out what the month means for him. 'I think this month is a crazy mix. I’ll always continue to remember, and celebrate the figures in our history who have campaigned or fought for the rights and relative safety of LGBTQ+ people today, like Marsha P Johnson. I’ll also remember the people who have affected our lives in other ways, in spite of living in a time where they couldn’t be accepted for their true selves, like Oscar Wilde or Alan Turing. It's a timely reminder that LGBTQ+ people have always existed and contributed, and how much there is at stake for us here, now and in the future if we do not remember the lessons of the past.’
Which? research finds the combined impact of both mobile and broadband bills going up at the same time could see customers facing an annual price increase of £60 per year - or exit fees that could cost a total exceeding £500. 'Telecoms providers must do the right thing by halting unfair price hikes immediately, rather than piling more misery on their customers.' Rocio Concha Galguera, Which? Director Advocacy and Policy. #TheRightToConnect
Telecoms firms must do the right thing - scrap their plans for unfair price hikes this April and end unpredictable in-contract price increases once and for all, so everyone can understand what they will pay when they sign a contract for these essential services. https://lnkd.in/exWPZ9et #TheRightToConnect #CallItOut
