WaFd employees stopped by Third Stone (the philanthropic arm of Bumbershoot) to drop off a check for their workforce development program benefiting local low-income youth. The Workforce Development Program is a free education program that aims to remove barriers of entry into the live-music business for young adults, ages 17-25. They teach valuable skills like concert marketing, audio engineering, lighting design, backstage hospitality, talent buying, stagehands, front-of-house operations, multimedia design, festival operations, and fundraising for non-profit organizations
