When asked what is your favorite part of your job, Claire said, "Working in the hospital, I have always loved interacting with patients and being able to bring a smile to their faces even on what they might consider to be some of their worst days. If I can do one thing to make a patient’s day easier or better, I want to do it. I believe that building a therapeutic relationship with patients and advocating for them is so important." Congratulations to our 2024 RISE graduates! RISE (Readying Inspiring Individuals with Skills to promote Equity) is a program developed to support our diverse, inclusive workforce in learning leadership capabilities to support the communities we serve. This remarkable group of 40 individuals completed a transformative journey, gaining leadership skills through the lens of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) over a four-month, eight-session in-person program. During their time in the RISE program, participants engaged in learning experiences that broadened their perspectives and enhanced their leadership capabilities to lead with empathy and inclusivity.
