Yesterday, we attended the Southwest Minnesota Career Expo at Southwest Minnesota State University, where 1,200 sophomores and juniors from over a dozen area high schools explored local career possibilities. 💼 The event was sponsored by the Southwest Initiative Foundation and the Southwest Minnesota Workforce Development Board. We enjoyed sharing the varied opportunities within the manufacturing industry - Southwest Minnesota's fastest growing job sector! Plus, we led some competitive games of "Tape Measure Tag." 📏 Students received a new RITALKA tape measure and were guided through a game of tricky measurements, with tasty treats as prizes!
🎉We had a blast at our summer picnics yesterday, despite the bad weather at several of our locations! 🌦️ Our teams enjoyed great food, fun games and prizes, as well as quality time together. It was a perfect day to celebrate our hard work! Thank you to everyone who made it a success!
