Alex Lugo, Neighborhood Service Manager at Spruce, started his Promethean journey 25 years ago as one of our Neighborhood Porters, and since then, he has supported multiple Neighborhoods, grew his maintenance skillset from Technician to Service Manager, and has been a leader amongst his peers. This week, our team celebrated this incredible milestone, in true Promethean fashion, with lots of food by the pool and soaking up the sun. This week at our Neighborhood Director and Neighborhood Service Manager gathering, we learned how to apply the “outward mindset” to everything we do. From finding creative ways to recognize others, to understanding each other’s goals, needs and objectives by turning outward. As a bonus, our fabulous Learning and Development team also hosted our very first GROW Expo. We are so grateful for having so many resources as a Promethean!
Our FIT (Find Your Inner Titan) Program aims to prioritize wellness for our Prometheans. Every month, the FIT team organizes various workshops covering exercise, nutrition, stress management, and financial wellness. In this month's session, FIT leaders Emily and Chris, hosted a Sushi roll making class, offering Prometheans the chance to create and enjoy their own rolls while spending quality time with one another!

The 15-story state of the art facility will house some of the most complex care in the country, all in one city block of San Francisco - serving SF, the Bay Area, and beyond for generations. “The UCSF Health Helen Diller Hospital will offer state-of-the-art facilities that will bring the latest therapies to our patients. This is where the future of health care is going to be led.” - UCSF Chancellor Sam Hawgood, MBBS. The design is centered around a ‘healing habitat’, integrating natural elements of light, plants, and trees into the building’s architecture to redefine healthcare environments. We are honored to reach the incredible start of this innovative project and can’t wait to see its impact on our community.
The Prometheus Real Estate Group PORCH (Promethean OutReach Community Help) team recently completed renovations for five homes for the families supported by Rebekah Children's Services. So inspired by our 50+ volunteers and vendor partners that rolled up their sleeves and pour their hearts into this project.
