In June 2025, PayRetailers acquired Celeris. In September 2024, we expanded further into Africa to cover 12 countries in total. The expansion included Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Kenya, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Senegal, South Africa, and Nigeria, after launching in Rwanda, Zambia, Uganda, and Tanzania just a few months earlier. By increasing our coverage, we capitalized on the success of our initial launch, unlocking new growth opportunities for our clients and providing them with seamless access to emerging markets. Existing cross-border online merchants also benefitted from our growth, as the process required zero integration efforts and was handled via the same API. With a simple, scalable, and user-friendly experience, we can support businesses looking to grow their regional operations. In addition, we offer access to major local payment methods, such as M-PESA, Airtel, and MTN, plus a blend of card and cash solutions.
