Entering our 16th year of partnership with charity: water, we are deeply impacted by the work we’ve accomplished together in bringing a healthy future to communities across the globe through clean, safe drinking water. PDS Health Founder and CEO Stephen Thorne says it best: “As the founder of PDS Health, I consider myself fortunate to work alongside people so dedicated to service. Perhaps most gratifying, I have seen the impact that service has had, not only on the recipient, but on the server. I remember one dental assistant who was able to serve in Ethiopia through the PDS Foundation. She spent time in a village that did not have access to water and saw the impact that a new well had on the families in that village. Since her visit, she has rallied her team to become one of the biggest fundraisers within our organization. Her passion to serve is infectious! Team members from PDS Health National Support Centers across the country gave back to their communities today in honor of MLK Day. As one of two days recognized as a national day of service, volunteers honored the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. by packing boxes at local food banks, assembling hygiene kits, and participating in other service opportunities in their area. Thankful for team members with hearts to serve others!
