One Identity has announced plans to operate as an independent company and will designate its Cork, Ireland office as its new global headquarters. The move positions the company to capture growing opportunity in unified identity governance, a market reshaped by AI and the rapid growth of non-human identities. More than 80% of the One Identity engineering organization is based in Europe, including the Chief Technology Officer and other key leadership across the region. The Cork headquarters builds on long-standing investment across the United Kingdom, Germany, Ireland, and the broader European footprint. The combined identity governance and administration (IGA) and privileged access management (PAM) markets are estimated at around $10 billion, with demand accelerating as organizations contend with rising identity complexity, expanding SaaS sprawl, and stricter regulations like NIS2 and DORA. Operating as an independent company gives One Identity the speed, focus, and dedicated investment to lead in both. A new executive team, including CEO Praerit Garg, Chief Financial & Operating Officer Mike Henricks, Chief Product & Marketing Officer Randy Menon, and Chief Technology Officer Gihan Munasinghe, will lead the company forward. Additional milestones will be shared through 2026.
