Ocean State Job Lot is revving its engines after a major safety win! OSJL's truck fleet secured the First-Place Safe Fleet Award at the American Trucking Associations' 2024 Safety, Security, and Human Resources National Conference and Exhibition for fleets traveling up to 10 million miles. Congratulations to all OSJL Drivers on this incredible award! The Truck Safety Contest evaluates fleets on a range of safety metrics, including accidents, incidents, and regulatory compliance. Our impressive first-place achievement showcases the Transportation team’s unwavering commitment to driver safety and accident prevention on the road. This effort was bolstered due to the hard work of our lead Driver Trainers, John Azzarone, Bill Hicks and Jose Fernandes. “I am thrilled to be part of this team," Transportation Safety Manager Frank Chauvette said, who represented OSJL at the event. “And of the many strides in improving Transportation Safety we have accomplished in such a short time."
