As a line medic, he served during hurricanes, in the mountains of western NC, and on deployment in Saudi Arabia. With his GI Bill, he became a nurse. He didn't stop serving, he just expanded the mission. Now, at Novant Health, he wears a new uniform, answering the call for patients and families in crisis. Same heart. Same purpose. New kind of service.
