LifeBridge Health leaders are respected and sought-after speakers in the healthcare field. LifeBridge Health President and CEO Neil M. Meltzer, MPH, MHA and Chief Philanthropy Officer Julie Cox recently shared their insights on the power of partnership at a meeting of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP) in San Diego. Neil and Julie also spoke about fostering a spirit of giving and the vital role philanthropy can play in supporting our mission to improve the health of people and communities we serve. AHP is an international association for professionals who raise money for hospitals. Julie E. Cox, CFRE, FAHP serves on their board.
Northwest Hospital is proud to partner with Baltimore County Public Schools and its health sciences programs. On Thursday, November 7, Student Clinical Coordinator, Tara Boynton, and Mike Hamburg, director, patient care services, joined Northwest Hospital President Craig Carmichael for a pinning ceremony at Randallstown High School. We presented 17 sophomores with certificates and pins to symbolize the introduction of the clinical component of their four year Allied Health Program curriculum. The students will serve a clinical rotation at Northwest in their junior year of high school. As Seniors the clinical component will take place at Levindale. Upon completion of the program they will obtain a certificate as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

LifeBridge Health is excited to share that Sinai Hospital has implemented a Virtual Nursing Pilot Program, which not only lightens the workload for nurses but also brings patients closer to their healthcare providers. Carrie McAteer, the lead on the Virtual Nursing Pilot Program, describes the virtual nurse by saying, "It's a real person, but she's just virtual; it's like a Zoom call, like a FaceTime, and she's able to do the non-touch tasks for our nursing staff."
