Da Vinci SP is our latest system to launch in Europe—expanding the existing da Vinci X and Xi ecosystem with a versatile and high-performance single-port robotic surgical system. Pioneers of robotic-assisted surgery in Europe have already used the system to complete more than 1,000 procedures—delivering less invasive care to patients across the continent. To us, this isn’t just a number or a milestone. It’s a leap forward as we strive to realize a future of care that is profoundly better. This achievement belongs to forward-thinking surgeons and care teams across Europe, and the many patients who trusted them. Thank you. Together, we’re transforming surgery.

Your story has power. Could it lead to a life-changing career? At Intuitive, it can. Just ask Naldo Calderon, a commercial learning manager for global distribution and co-chair of the ¡HOLA! Employee Resource Group. “My whole life prepared me to come to Intuitive,” he says. Naldo’s journey started in Guatemala. Growing up, he faced challenges assimilating in the U.S., struggling with language barriers and identity. Seeking structure and purpose, he joined the military. “I thrived there,” he shares. “It pushed me to seek inside the best part of me that helped me carry through difficult moments.” After his first tour in Iraq, he became a U.S. citizen. Today, Naldo channels that same drive into his work at Intuitive, training surgeons in minimally invasive techniques. “Every program I teach gives surgeons skills they’ll use for the rest of their careers.” And the very thing that once made him feel like an outsider—his native Spanish—now helps him make an impact. Teaching surgeons in Latin America, he’s helping shape the future of healthcare. “I have a very unique story to tell, and it makes me an asset.” Your unique story could make you an asset, too.
