IQ-EQ Belfast has formed a number of clubs for employees with shared interests. It’s a great way to connect with colleagues and meet new ones for some fun and banter. The walking group got up early on a Saturday morning for a walk up Cave Hill. They met at 6.45am and it took about half an hour to walk up the steep path to the viewing point at McArt’s Fort, where they enjoyed the view over Belfast at sunrise (7.20am). It was definitely worth the early wake up call and a great way to start the weekend with a fresh morning walk.
IQ-EQ’s very own Belfast team have recently produced a video! The video was shot in the Belfast office and included interviews with Eoghan Harney, Niamh Cheung, Ruth Hennessey and Jonathan Lynn, who spoke about their experience of working at IQ-EQ, the growth of the office and the job opportunities available.

Our IQ-EQ London team recently held a social at Flight Club, for a night of darts! Over 40 members of the office were split over 3 oches, then it was time to let the games commence! Congratulations to both the winning teams! The event was organised and hosted by our CHESS team with over £600 raised for Movember and a fun evening had by all.
Congratulations to Eloise Collins in our London office for receiving the most high-fives in IQ-EQ in 2021 - what an achievement! We use the high five initiative internally as a peer-to-peer recognition programme where we award someone across the IQ-EQ group who has gone the extra mile to help or who has done a great job. Eloise received 79 high-fives this year!
Traditionally, a gift made of aluminium or tin is given for a 10-year wedding anniversary. These metals are known for their resilience, inability to rust, and symbolise durability. This is particularly fitting for our #Belfast office who celebrate 10 years on 5 December 2021. The Belfast team has come a long way from that first day with six employees working out of a small office in Arthur House. Since then they’ve outgrew two offices, and now have over 150 employees! It is a centre of excellence for AML/KYC, Global Payments, DepCo, and Client Services. Congratulations to our Belfast team on your 10-year anniversary and here’s to many more years!
The IQ-EQ Beach Clean-up in the Netherlands was a great success! We decided to divide the group into two smaller groups to cover more distance and work safely in the current environment. We collected 74 kilos of litter! Congratulations to everyone for collecting such a large amount of litter and keeping the beach clean! In addition to our effort, IQ-EQ Stichting Goede Doelen (our charity foundation) donated €1000 to WNF (Worldwide Fund for Nature).
IQ-EQ were delighted to welcome Nuala Murphy, Interim Head of Business Diversity Mark to our Belfast office to receive the Bronze Diversity Mark for a second year. This was awarded in recognition of our progress and commitment to Gender Diversity.
