The Edge Autonomy Ann Arbor team came together to serve meals at the Fisher House Michigan, a "home away from home" where families of military personnel and Veterans can stay while their loved ones receive medical treatment. In the spirit of the season of giving, we were honored to give back to the brave men and women who have sacrificed so much for our freedom. The Fisher House has saved military and Veteran families an estimated $610 million in out-of-pocket costs for lodging and transportation, and the Fisher House in Ann Arbor has hosted over 10,000 military & veteran caregivers since opening in June 2020. These opportunities remind us of the importance of coming together as a community and supporting one another, and we are thankful for everyone who gave their time and energy to make this a success! We had the opportunity to work with the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) this month on the Blue #UAS Refresh Challenge at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms, California. The Edge Autonomy team was on site at Camp Ādaži, the largest training area in the #Baltics for almost nine decades, for the Latvian defense companies' capabilities demonstration. Organized by the NATO Multinational Brigade as part of the Distinguished Visitors Day, the event was attended by commanders of the armed forces of the brigade's member states, politicians, and a NATO delegation. Our team was honored to have the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations at our booth with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, Minister of Defense Andris Sprūds, President of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs, and other #military personnel.
