This past weekend we had a large group of Edge Autonomy employees from our #Riga office run in the Rimi Riga Marathon in #Latvia! They conquered distances ranging from 5K to a full marathon (26 mi / 42 km) along a course alongside the river Daugava and through the Art Nouveau district, with views of the amazing panorama of Pārdaugava and Old Riga, Brīvības street, as well as the paved streets of Old Town and much more. The Edge Autonomy team in Latvia recently conducted electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) tests on our Penguin C VTOL UAS. As we continue to witness the rapid evolution of technology in the aerospace industry, these tests play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of uncrewed aerial systems. Led by project manager Herberts Stāmers, we were able to assess the ability of our aircraft to operate efficiently in electromagnetic environments without causing or experiencing interference. By subjecting the Penguin C VTOL to rigorous testing procedures, we can evaluate their electromagnetic emissions, susceptibility to external sources, and overall compatibility with other electronic systems.
