Bernhard teams recently completed a crucial HVAC system upgrade at Truman School in Marrero, Louisiana. The upgrade included replacing three chillers and ten chilled water pumps, integrating new VFDs for pumps and modern chillers, addressing previous temperature control issues, and improving overall system performance. The improved HVAC system will provide a more comfortable and efficient learning environment for years to come. The upgrade was successfully implemented in two phases, strategically dividing the building to minimize disruption. We completed the major system shutdown and restart within two weeks after the school year ended on May 24. This project showcases our ability to execute complex renovations under tight time constraints while maintaining operational efficiency. #sustainability #energyefficiency
