Three days at AI4 2025 in Vegas have flown by, and what an inspiring ride it’s been. From the very first keynote to the last panel, one theme kept coming back to us: AI’s future isn’t just about technology, it’s about people. On the final day, two voices really stayed with us. Fei-Fei Li reminded us that "AI should never replace humanity—it should serve it." Her vision for spatial intelligence — AI that can understand, reason, and interact in 3D spaces — painted a future where our physical and digital worlds blend seamlessly, creating environments that adapt to our needs, not the other way around. Jeetu Patel pushed us to re-think the narrative, saying "The notion that AI will make humans obsolete is overhyped; we are looking at a future of abundance, not scarcity." It’s a powerful reminder that AI’s true value lies in amplifying human creativity, solving problems we once thought impossible, and unlocking opportunities we’ve barely begun to imagine. As we wrap up, we’re leaving with a renewed belief that the most exciting future is one where human insight and AI capability grow together, shaping how we work, live, connect, and thrive.

It was amazing to go behind the scenes of his monumental projects — understanding not just the technology, but the scale, speed, and trust required to make them succeed. We also explored how software engineers can add the most value in today’s age, how AI is reshaping India’s digital landscape, and the kind of teams and cultures that consistently deliver impact — while reflecting on how we, as a private technology company, can contribute even more towards societal good. It’s a privilege to have leaders like him as guiding voices for Damco.

Over the past few months, teams across our India offices came together to support communities through donation drives — contributing clothing, educational materials, and hygiene essentials to The The Earth Saviours Foundation and Tender Hearts NGO. - Clothing drives provided hundreds of clean, wearable garments to elderly and abandoned residents — offering not just warmth, but dignity and comfort in tough times. - Educational and hygiene support empowered children through creative learning materials and supported women’s menstrual health through resources used in sanitary napkin production — creating both awareness and income opportunities. Whether it was clothes, reusable cups, ORS sachets, chart papers, or scissors — every item was more than just a donation. It was a small act of care, a shared moment of humanity. The images may not be perfect, but the intention and impact they represent speak louder than pixels ever could. Grateful to every Damcoite who contributed — not for recognition, but because they simply wanted to help.
"In September 2024, I moved to the U.S. with my family — not just for a new role, but for a more fulfilling and balanced life. It was a big shift, but one that felt right. Having worked extensively in the U.S. staffing domain and with U.S.-based clients, the move felt like a natural next step. When the opportunity came through Damco, I welcomed it with gratitude. Some memories have already become milestones — my child’s first Halloween in the U.S., full of joy and neighborhood cheer, and celebrating Holi with colleagues at our New Jersey office, surrounded by colors, warmth, and laughter. What does it take to change someone’s day? Sometimes, just 90 minutes of your own. Yesterday, at one of our India offices, we hosted a volunteering session in collaboration with Nirbhed Foundation—an NGO working tirelessly to uplift children from underserved communities through education, skill-building, and care. Together, we laughed over art, built courage through conversation, and shared simple life lessons on confidence, hygiene, and motivation. For many of us, it was a pause from the fast-paced world of deliverables and deadlines. But for the children, it was a spark—a moment of encouragement, creativity, and being seen. And perhaps that’s the biggest impact we can make: helping someone feel visible, heard, and hopeful.
