      On 2 February, three of our senior leaders spoke at the Hong Kong Inclusion Summit 2026, joining leaders from across the region to explore how inclusion can strengthen organisations and build more resilient communities. Our Group Chief Executive, Scott Price, opened the summit, emphasising that inclusion is not a corporate exercise—it is a business imperative. Scott highlighted how servant leadership plays a critical role in building trust, shaping culture and enabling people to perform at their best. He stressed that leadership is an obligation to serve—and that when leaders model the behaviour we expect of our teams, we create workplaces where people feel valued, included and empowered to thrive. This approach is essential to long term competitiveness and business success. In a morning session, our Group Chief People & Culture Officer, Joy Xu, joined a panel on how Asia can shape its own inclusion model rooted in Asian values and community impact. She shared how this aligns with our people-led strategy and our ongoing efforts to build an inclusive culture where everyone can thrive. Our Group Chief Technology & Information Officer, Crystal Chan, also spoke on how evolving cultural expectations and technology are influencing belonging and leadership. She highlighted the importance of diverse teams and human-centred leadership in meeting changing customer needs. Across all sessions, our message stood out: Inclusion drives resilience, innovation and long-term value.

      We stand with the community during this difficult time in Hong Kong. Our thoughts are with everyone impacted by the tragic fire in Tai Po, and we hope strength and resilience will guide the recovery ahead. In close coordination with the authorities and our brands across Hong Kong – Mannings, Wellcome Hong Kong, hashtag#7ElevenHK, hashtag#IKEAHK, and hashtag#yuu – we’re delivering DFI Care Packs and bed frames to families moving into transitional housing in Kai Tak. Each Care Pack contains daily essentials, including personal and hygiene items, food and drinks, and wellness products, to bring comfort and support during this transition. We are deeply grateful to our team for their swift response and dedication. To date, across all our DFI brands in Hong Kong, with the additional support from Hong Kong Maxim's Group, we are contributing HK$12 million in cash donations and HK$8 million in in-kind aid to assist recovery efforts. We will continue to monitor developments and provide support to the community in the weeks and months ahead.

      We extend our deepest condolences to everyone affected by the tragic fire in Tai Po, Hong Kong. Our thoughts are with the families, communities and emergency teams during this difficult time. As part of our commitment to helping those in need, and in coordination with government and relief partners, we have mobilised resources and support across DFI Retail Group and our brands. To date, we have contributed HK$10M in cash donations and HK$5M in in‑kind donations to aid affected residents and the wider response. Together, we stand with the community and remain committed to supporting recovery in the weeks and months ahead.
