A Journey of Resilience 🚀 In August 2020, Marcel faced a life-changing motorcycle accident that left him paraplegic. With incredible support from his colleagues at ContiTech and the BG RCI, he embarked on a journey to regain his independence and return to work. 💪 From adapting his home to taking on a new role in the shipping office, every step was a testament to teamwork and determination. Addressing deforestation with innovative seeding robot! 🤖🌱 We are developing a tree seeding robot, in collaboration with nature restoration company Land Life, which will advance the process of reforestation. This innovative robot will be able to sow up to one tree seed per minute, with the remote-controlled vehicle being capable of placing up to 60 pits in the ground per hour. This tree seeding robot, developed by our engineering and development services provider Continental Engineering Services (CES), is not only a sustainable solution for reforestation in areas affected by environmental damage, but it also offers many advantages over conventional sowing and planting techniques. This collaboration with Land Life will provide a sustainable solution for the preservation and protection of vital ecosystems, which is more important than ever due to the increasing global forest loss rates.
