"The drive shown was refreshing, and deserves praise." This employee shoutout goes to Carlos Nieva, Alex Lopez, and Tyler Rouse for their resiliency in the face of setbacks, their teamwork, and their commitment to safety. Here's what our client had to say: "This project presented some unique obstacles and unforeseen delays that were challenging to manage, but even given the difficulties, the project was completed ahead of time without sacrificing quality of work, and by the end of the project, the crew had created a strong rapport with us, the inspectors and with each other. That's something I have not experienced on any other job site before. I was pleased with their ability to adapt, their ingenuity and attention to detail." Strong work, gentlemen! We're proud to have you on our team

A crew that's empowered to bring the full breadth of their expertise to every project, can be the difference between success and failure. This shoutout goes to Keenan Bohach for his proactive communication and safety-first mindset. When a client wanted to spin augers and set a well near railroad tracks, Keenan recognized that the location would have comprised the structural integrity of the tracks. His knowledge and past experience kept Cascade from being liable for damages. Later, a railroad representative came to the site to tell the client they could not drill in that location. We're proud of Mr. Bohach for sharing his insight at such a critical moment.
One of the components of our CORE™ Health and Safety Program that we are most proud of is Cascade's Stop Work Authority (SWA) policy. This empowers team members at every level, to stop work at the moment they recognize a potential safety hazard. This shoutout goes to Timothy Luce and his team for exercising their SWA right. Here's what was noted on their Cascade Card: "As we were setting up to drill our next hole, we found a duck nest in the tall reeds two feet away from the foot of the rig. After finding it, we had the site manager call U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. We used Stop Work Authority. This nest was lawfully protected, so we ended up abandoning the borehole so [as] not to disturb." We're proud of the actions Timothy Luce and his team took to protect the nest, and we wish this momma duck and her eggs the best! 🐣

This employee shoutout is going to be a little different. It's one we're especially proud to share because the feedback is from someone who used to work with our very own Marti A. Here's what her team mate had to say: "Hello, I haven’t worked for Cascade for many years and one person that has made a lasting impression to me is Marti Anderson. I wanted to reach out to give her recognition. Not only have I felt like family working with her but years after, when my mother passed away, she had sent flowers on behalf of Cascade and the employees in Flint, MI. When I was out on the long weeks of hotel stays and long flight layovers, she made sure she absolutely did everything she could. I’m more then certain that many Flint employees of Cascade will agree that she is the glue that binds them together. I hope that this reaches everyone and they understand how much she has an impact on everyone’s life’s." Marti, we deeply appreciate your kindness and empathy; you've had a powerful impact on your team and we grateful for all that you do.
