On January 21st and 22nd, the CCA University team collaborated with flooring industry expert Robert Varden to host a two-day masterclass at a NISI location in Cranston, RI. The session focused on LVP installation and precise carpet seaming techniques. Participants gained hands-on experience and practical insights from Robert Varden, Greg Brooks, and Kyle Searless, enhancing their skills and professionalism. Earlier this month, CCA Global Partners members came together for three days of learning and collaboration. A key highlight was our focus on community and giving back. We were honored to hear from US Army veteran Sgt. Rick Yarosh and retired FDNY Battalion Commander Jack Oehm, who shared the vital mission of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation and the homes they build for our nation's heroes. The incredible week concluded with an inspiring auction that raised over $200,000, which will sponsor 20 homes being built in the Do Good Village in Land O' Lakes, FL. We are incredibly proud of the generosity of our members and team. This is just one example of how we live our values and make a positive impact together.
It’s good to be home! Earlier this month, we hosted conneXtion 2026 in Denver, CO, where hundreds of Flooring America, Carpet One Floor & Home, International Design Guild, Flooring Canada, and The Floor Trader members gathered to learn from each other, strategize, and browse new products for our customers to explore! For one week, our marketing and business experts worked hard strategizing for 2026 while enjoying a ton of fun activities, including the Women of CCA luncheon, Education Day, and our fabulous closing event, featuring legendary comedian Jay Leno!
