June is Men’s Health Month, and throughout the month, we’ll be sharing weekly health and wellness reminders for our workforce, families, and communities. From recognizing warning signs to encouraging healthy habits, these conversations are important for everyone. Follow along each week and help us continue building a culture of care both on and off the job.
A new group of interns is joining us for the summer, bringing fresh perspectives and eagerness to learn! Their first stop was orientation, where they connected with our team, explored our operations, and got a closer look at the work happening across our company. We’re looking forward to the impact they’ll make and the experience they’ll gain in the months ahead.
Safety starts with what we see – and what we choose not to ignore. As we kick off National Construction Safety Week, our teams are focused on recognizing hazards early and staying vigilant on every jobsite. For equipment mover Arthur Palmer, safety is personal. “Going home to our families at the end of the day is the main thing that matters. Safety First isn’t just words – it’s a practice. We have to watch out for ourselves and each other and stay alert.” In his role transporting equipment, that awareness is critical. From securing every load – no matter the size – to regularly inspecting straps, chains and tie-down tools,
Jennifer Bagwell, HR Admin, recently represented our team at the Jackson Public Schools Employability Fair, connecting with more than 1,200 high school seniors. Events like this are a great opportunity to engage with the next generation and share potential career paths in our industry!

Safety starts long before the job begins, and this week we’re recognizing hashtag#NationalWorkZoneAwarenessWeek. Our teams are focused on the training, awareness and precautions that keep everyone safe – because at APAC MS/TN, safety means making sure everyone gets home. For Delta Traffic Coordinator James Clowers, safety means “everything – keeping our team and the traveling public as safe as possible, so we can all go home to our families the same way we left them.” He also stays ahead by reviewing the next day’s work zone, assessing hazards and planning in advance to keep his crew safe. #NWZAW #WorkZoneSafety #SafeActionsSaveLives
Safety, leadership, and collaboration took center stage at the Annual Safety Leadership Conference in Tupelo. Over two days, our team shared best practices, strengthened our safety culture, and celebrated!
